What we believe — and why every classroom reflects it.
American Faith Academy is an unapologetically Christian school. The convictions below shape what we teach, how we teach it, and the kind of community we build around your child.
On Scripture
We believe the Bible — both Old and New Testaments — is the inspired, inerrant, and authoritative Word of God. It is the final authority for faith and life, the lens through which every other subject is read, and the standard by which every teaching at AFA is measured.
On God
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is the Creator of all things, the Sustainer of all things, the Redeemer of His people, and the rightful King of every heart and every nation.
On Christ
We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man, conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, died on the cross as a substitutionary atonement for our sins, rose bodily from the dead on the third day, ascended to the right hand of the Father, and will return in glory to judge the living and the dead.
On Humanity
We believe every human being is created in the image of God — uniquely, intentionally, and with inherent dignity. We believe humanity has fallen into sin and stands in need of redemption. We believe that redemption is offered freely through faith in Jesus Christ alone.
On the Church
We believe the church is the body of Christ, the family of God on earth, called to proclaim the gospel, disciple believers, and bless the world. AFA is not a church and does not seek to replace the local church. We exist to serve families who are rooted in faithful local churches.
On Marriage, Sexuality, and Gender
We believe every person is created in the image of God and is therefore worthy of dignity, care, and respect.
We believe God created humanity male and female, and that this embodied reality is part of His good design. We believe marriage is a covenant union between one man and one woman, established by God, and that sexual intimacy is a gift intended for marriage.
We recognize that people may experience real confusion, pain, and struggle related to sexuality or gender. American Faith Academy is committed to treating every student and family with compassion, patience, and respect. At the same time, we will not teach, affirm, or require beliefs about gender, marriage, or sexuality that contradict Scripture or God's created order.
We will use language consistent with a student's biological sex. We will support students with care and discretion, while remaining faithful to biblical truth.
On Education
We believe education is formation, not just instruction. Children are not blank slates to be filled with information. They are image-bearers being formed into something. The question is not whether they will be formed, but by whom and toward what. AFA exists to form children in the image of Christ, equipped to think clearly, love rightly, and build faithfully in whatever calling God places before them.
