The program begins with placement so instruction starts where the student actually is — not simply where their age or grade says they should be. SOAR Math meets students at their current mathematical level and adapts the teaching as they learn.
When a student struggles, SOAR looks beyond the incorrect answer to help determine why. A careless mistake, a missed step, a genuine misunderstanding, or a foundational gap from years earlier each call for a different response — and SOAR responds accordingly. When the student demonstrates mastery, they move forward.

Not Included
This subscription does not include Language Arts, AFA Bible, Omnibus, Latin, Spanish, science, logic, rhetoric, or other complete-curriculum courses. Printed materials, devices, and internet access are not included.
Mastery-Paced Instruction
SOAR Math is a personalized, mastery-paced instruction subscription. It does not require scheduled live classes or required live instructor interaction. Recommended use is approximately 30–45 minutes per instructional day for Grammar Level students, and approximately 45–60 minutes per instructional day for Logic and Rhetoric Level students. Students progress according to demonstrated mastery rather than a fixed age-based schedule.
Activation and digital fulfillment.
After purchase or scholarship authorization:
- The parent submits the required electronic student-information form.
- AFA creates the parent and student accounts.
- Login instructions are emailed to the purchaser.
- The student completes the assigned placement activities.
- The student’s instructional starting point is established.
- The student begins SOAR Math.

Refund and Cancellation Policy
A refund may be requested in writing before activation. After activation:
- Fees for months in which access has been available are non-refundable.
- The month in which written cancellation is received is non-refundable.
- Prepaid fees attributable to future full months may be refunded.
- Registration, setup, payment-processing, downloaded-content, and scholarship-administration fees are non-refundable.
- Scholarship-funded refunds will be processed according to the requirements of the applicable scholarship-funding organization.
